Experience a Century of Mission Through the Lens of Hope
Marking 100 years of World Mission Sunday, Hope brings together photographs taken during encounters with Catholic Mission’s partner communities around the world. Through moments of daily life, the exhibition explores how hope is lived and shared through encounter, care, faith and community.
For a century, World Mission Sunday has invited the universal Church to come together in prayer and solidarity with communities beyond our own, in the spirit of this year’s theme ‘One in Christ, united in mission’. Hope honours this shared mission by bringing us closer to the people and relationships at its heart.
Each photograph offers an invitation to pause, look closely and reflect. In a smile, a gesture of care or the quiet work of building a future, we find expressions of dignity, resilience and belonging. These moments invite us to recognise our shared humanity and consider how we, too, can help nurture hope.
