Conflict has forced millions from their homes in Myanmar – with 1.8 million people being displaced this year alone. Many of them are children.
In the midst of ongoing conflict, children in Myanmar are left with little to nothing. No education, no food, and no opportunity to break the cycle of poverty. But thanks to the work of the Church, missionaries like Fr Salai Michael, MSP, are making sure his people aren’t forgotten.
For five years, Fr Salai Michael of the Missionaries of St Paul has witnessed this hardship up close and chose to do something about it through the ecological farm in Pathein Diocese.
Children like Daniel come to stay. They have access to education. They learn sustainable farming skills to bring back to their communities. They become the change-makers for their families and their futures.
The foundation is there. With the right support, this project can expand, reaching more children, feeding more families, and strengthening communities for the future.
Today, your gift can:
• Provide nutritious meals for children living at the Mission of St Pauls boarding hostel
• Purchase chickens for the farm
• Contribute toward the purchase of a tractor
• Train a young person in ecological farming, giving them skills to build a livelihood in their own community
• Help contribute to the fishpond development
Your compassion today can help grow food, opportunity, and hope for children and families in Myanmar.
Plant seeds of change for young people in Myanmar
