Hope Exhibition
To celebrate 100 years of World Mission Sunday, Catholic Mission invites you to experience Hope, a unique photography exhibition capturing moments of hope, connection and encounter shared with communities around the world.
Hope grows through belonging and the support we offer one another. This exhibition has taken shape through the generosity of partners sharing their talents, skills and resources to help Catholic Mission bring stories of encounter, faith and community to others.
Australian Catholic University provides a home for Hope at its North Sydney campus. Alex Lopez and his team at Hang It Up bring their expertise in art, framing and installation to the exhibition space, while Sevenhill Cellars generously supplies wine for our events.
Meet the partners helping bring Hope to life.

Catholic Mission brings the photographs and the relationships behind them, formed through time spent with partner communities around the world. These encounters shape the exhibition, inviting visitors to reflect on the care, faith and connection through which hope grows.

Australian Catholic University provides a home for the exhibition at its North Sydney campus. Its support creates a welcoming space for visitors to explore the collection and gather for conversations about mission and hope, reflecting a shared commitment to community engagement.

Hang It Up, led by Alex Lopez, contributes expertise in art, framing and installation. Working alongside Catholic Mission, Alex and his team help shape how visitors encounter the photographs. From the positioning of each image to its relationship with the collection around it, their work gives these stories room to be seen and considered.

Sevenhill Cellars supports the exhibition through the generous provision of wine for its events. As a Jesuit-owned winery with a longstanding connection to the life of the Church, Sevenhill brings a spirit of hospitality to the occasions where people gather around Hope.
Together, these contributions show how a shared purpose can take shape through the skills and resources each partner has to offer. They create opportunities for people to discover Catholic Mission’s work through photography and to deepen their connection with the communities represented.
