Hope: Unfinished Business

Catholic Mission and Australian Catholic University warmly invite you to the launch of HOPE: Unfinished Business, a powerful new publication featuring reflections from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic women on the meaning of hope, healing and renewal.

Inspired by the recent Jubilee Year of Hope, the book brings together the voices and lived experiences of ten Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women who reflect on faith, identity, reconciliation, intergenerational trauma and the enduring strength of community. Through storytelling, prayer, art and personal reflection, HOPE: Unfinished Business offers an honest and moving exploration of hope in the face of struggle and uncertainty.

Published by St Pauls Books, the project has been developed by Australian Catholic University’s Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous) in partnership with Catholic Mission, formation.org.au, and the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart.

Guests attending the launch will have the opportunity to meet some of the authors, hear directly from their stories and reflections, and celebrate this significant contribution to the ongoing journey of reconciliation and mission within the Church in Australia.
