Catholic Mission would like to extend that invitation to you and your community, so that together we may continue to reach further, spread the Good News, and bear witness to the love of God.

In today’s world, it is easy to get lost in the constant flow of communication. Yet we have to ask ourselves:

What if I used my social media for good?

What if I could share a message that reflects who I am, a message that inspires hope, raises awareness about the lives and challenges of our sisters and brothers around the world, and encourages others to take small actions to create a better future?

This is why Catholic Mission has created this unique program for youth to become brand ambassadors, so that mindful people like you can inspire others through everyday acts of faith in action. Mission is not always about going far away.

Sometimes, mission begins with a conversation, a post, a shared story, or a simple act of kindness.

Today, we invite you to simply ask yourself: What is the message I want to share?

Ways you can get involved today:

• Share a good action you did today and invite others to reflect on their own. Let us know by tagging #CatholicMission and #YouthInAction.
• Reshare content from Catholic Mission channels, helping stories of hope and mission reach further.
• Use our collective reels library, created with young people and the Comms Team, to amplify messages that matter.
• Come and say hello at Catholic youth events and festivals. Let your network know you’re joining us by tagging Catholic Mission. We’ll keep you updated on upcoming events and opportunities.
• Take part in our monthly challenge. Each month, we share on our socials a new content challenge exploring how Catholic Social Teaching can be lived in everyday life, inspiring others through practical actions and reflection.

Who can join?

This is a broad invitation.

Whether you’re joining as an individual, with friends, as part of a social group, parish, youth ministry or community, everyone is welcome, provided you are over 18 years of age in line with Australian social media regulations, and motivated to use your voice to create positive change.
