Pope Leo XIV’s Appeal for World Mission Sunday 2026
For many children in rural Malawi, each day begins with a difficult journey just to reach school. Long distances, hunger, and physical hardship stand in the way of their education. Now, after floods and cyclones have swept through their communities, that path is even more difficult.
Today, your gift can:
• Help build school classrooms
• Provide hearty and nutritious meals for students so they can grow strong, and feel energised and focused
• Purchase essentials like books, pencils and uniforms, so that no child is left without
• Plant neem trees to protect the community from severe weather.
This World Mission Month Pope Leo XIV calls us to be “One in Christ, United in Mission”, standing with all people, simply because they are beloved children of God.
