Standing in solidarity with Ukrainian people once again

Stand with Ukrainian families and bring relief and hope during this critical time

We urge you to respond to this call with generosity and urgency—through your prayers, your solidarity, and your support—to help us build a world where displaced children, youth, women, and men can access education, protection, and live with dignity.

Br Michael Schöpf SJ, International Director, Jesuit Refugee Service

On 24 January, 2025, the United States government abruptly suspended USAID, a vital funding program that has supported thousands of critical programs and services for children and families around the world.

For the past three years, Catholic Mission has partnered with the local Church in Europe and Jesuit Refugee Service to provide essential support to Ukrainian communities affected by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Together, we have delivered food, shelter, medical care, education, and psychological support to Ukrainian children and families in need.

However, this lifeline has now been disrupted—further worsening the suffering of those already living in extreme vulnerability. Over six million Ukrainians have been displaced across Europe, and more than 3.7 million people within Ukraine are in urgent need of critical assistance.

Today, we urgently ask you to partner faithfully with our missionaries on the frontlines.

Will you stand with Ukrainian families and bring relief and hope during this critical time?
