The Sisters of St Anne provide services to the community through In Centre work; Outreach to Aboriginal Communities; Social Work including visits to Kindergartens, Hospitals, and Aged Care facilities; Ceduna Red Cross, and Pastoral Work.
These programs include working closely with the Aboriginal Community walking with them and providing guidance, care, and nurturing when needed. The sisters also seek to address issues of domestic violence, homelessness, and loneliness.
The present pastoral ministry of Coober Pedy Inland Mission has many different aspects. It involves ministry within the township of Coober Pedy, the surrounding cattle stations which extend into the Northern Territory, and the peoples and communities comprising the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) lands.
Everyday support provided by the Diocese includes the provision of basic needs including clothing, bedding, and more often food and cool drinks.
