Sparked by her desire to see better outcomes for her people, Sister Carolina set into action and is now a nurse at the clinic.
Petrolina’s family is one of many that has benefited from the care of the Sisters. Witnessing her daughter Vitoria unable to walk and eat, she carried her to the clinic for help. It was found she had tuberculosis.
Now 30, she shares her trust in the Sister’s often bringing her son Felipe* for regular care.
